Creation of 15th Cartier global subsidiary. Christine was a critical team member that transitioned Cartier’s involvement in the US Duty Free, Central America, South America and Caribbean from an agency agreement to a fully independent subsidiary.
The mission included handling of sales and Marketing for Cartier watches, jewelry, pens, lighters, sunglasses, leather goods, gifts, table top, and fragrance. She built up and managed a portfolio of over $30,000,000 in sales as area manager and later area director. In parallel she was product manager for the various product categories and launched new collections managed their advertising, promotion, press and merchandising.
Christine handled wholesale and retail distribution, airline and cruise ship listings for the region, built relationships with large and small, corporate and family run businesses in these varied distribution networks.
She opened freestanding boutiques, shop and shops, coordinated the expansion of Cartier clients into a personalized shop in shop or free-standing boutique, negotiating contract agreements, architect plans, hiring of personnel, product selection and merchandising.
